The church family at Maxwell Mearns cares about each other and our neighbours . The ERGC foodstore gives us an opportunity to show this care. Volunteers from the church are able to deliver groceries and other necessities to those individuals and families in our area who are needing a helping hand.
This contact provides opportunity for invitation to our many supportive community groups which run from the church throughout the year,

  Drs Shubhro and Liz Mullick manage a rural hospital in East India. The ministry there is varied and they have a tremendously positive impact on the community at large. They also support local Christian ministry and run a Sunday school for children.

Bryson and May Arthur

Stefan trained with Cornhill Bible College in Glasgow and was placed with Maxwell as part of that year. Since 2014 he has been working with his wife Martina (with Lasse and Jonas) in Japan.
They work for the organisation Navigators amongst students and the university in Shizuoka.  Their ministry includes small group Bible Studies, and organising oversea student trips.

Dr Rebecca Dodds

Maxwell Mearns Castle is currently supporting Rebecca Dodds as she works in Kikuyu Hospital in Kenya. Rebecca (who was brought up in Maxwell) is working there, in conjunction with Mission Africa from February to August 2021.
